Ready for a fresh start, sixteen-year-old Talullah accepts an invitation to study magic on the secluded Isle of Salire. She hopes to master her new powers, find the sapphire she needs, and finally trust herself as a Seer.
Then a student disappears.
Talullah’s search for answers leads beneath the school into hidden tunnels, toward an apparition begging for her help, and deeper into an old island legend about those who disappear by the sea. Meanwhile, the ghosts in her head whisper warnings she isn’t sure she can trust.
And she isn’t the only one searching for the sapphire.
